Where Bed Bugs Are Found

Bed bugs are found just about everywhere people are found. Public places are crawling with these critters and you would never even notice bringing home one or two.   The most common place they are, as their name suggests, is in beds.  More specifically, you will find them nestled within the creases of the piping of mattresses (the tube of fabric at the edge of the mattress.)  These bugs are tiny and enjoy these comfy crevices the most.

Signs of Bed Begs include:

Itchy spots anywhere on your body. Most of the time bed bugs feed at night and you would never know that they are there until after over a week of infestation and bite marks appear. Most bedbug bites are painless at first, but later turn into itchy welts.

The most common sign of bed bugs is blood drops on your bed sheets or clothes after a long night of sleep. Bed bugs can latch on and suck your blood for up to ten minutes before falling off. They inject an anti-coagulant (a blood thinner) as they feed to make feeding easier for them and less detectable to you while you rest.

Luckily, if you are infested, bed bugs do not spread disease to humans like lime disease from ticks or malaria from mosquitoes. Bed bugs are considered a nuisance pest but are still a huge annoyance. Once they take over your living space, they are very difficult to remove. Call today for a FREE inspection and $100 off your first pest treatment service.*

Treatment for Bed Bugs

Bed Bugs are smarter than you think. They outsmart local treatments and simply detour from one area to another. From beds to carpets, and the carpet to the couch, etc. They slowly walk over to another area and all the treatment you used sits there while the bed bugs made a home in another spot. They are stubborn. It takes a few treatments to make sure these well-hidden pests are entirely caught. Call A-1 Bonded Termite, Inc. and make sure your bed bug removal is done right.

The good news is, even with the worst bed bug problems, everything can still be saved.

In the most extreme cases, if an entire an entire home or business becomes infested and localized treatments are no longer effective, a tented bed bug removal, or fumigation, may be necessary. We make bed-bug fumigation easy, and you are back home and pest free within 3 days. Read more about our bed bug fumigation process here.
